Summer GROW 2026

Getting Ready for Opportunities in Work

  • For Georgia students with disabilities, ages 14-21
  • Sessions held throughout the state
  • June – July 2026

Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) Pre-ETS Program

Grow is a week-long experiential program that exposes students to work readiness training, career exploration, self-advocacy, and other activities, all delivered in the community in which the student resides. Each day is filled with experiences from five required areas:

  1. Work Readiness Training
  2. Self-Advocacy
  3. Job Exploration
  4. Work-Based Learning
  5. Counseling

Augusta-Area Dates: July 20-24  & July 27-31

Goodwill Industries of Middle Georgia and the CSRA must receive an authorization from GVRA for each student prior to starting the session. Parents, schools, students, and current GVRA providers interested in participating should contact their local GVRA VR office for more information.

Goodwill Career Education

Goodwill Career Education is an arm of Goodwill Industries of Middle Georgia, Inc. that provides educational and training programs to those seeking “a hand-up” in the career world.  The goal as with all Goodwill programs is to assist individuals with the skills and resources required to garner and retain competitive employment. These courses were designed to assist individuals to transition
to a new career or advance in the career in which already employed.

Goodwill Career Education offers training programs in the following industries:

  • Business & Technology
  • Health Services
  • Industrial Trades
