Discover Your Dream Career at Goodwill’s Career Fair on October 17th
Macon, Ga. – April 25, 2022 — Goodwill Works Foundation is excited to announce that the 18th annual Goodwill Gala, presented by SBG Wealth Management, will be held Friday, November 3, 2023, at 7:00 p.m. at the Anderson Conference Center in Macon.
The upcoming Gala holds special significance as it coincides with Macon’s Bicentennial and commemorates nearly five decades of Goodwill’s service to the Macon-Bibb community. Over the years, Goodwill’s training, education, and employment services have given thousands of local residents a hand up to a better life, empowering them to achieve their goals and attain self-sufficiency.
This year’s Gala theme, “Macon Life Good: Tastemakers and Dream Chasers,” promises an unforgettable night of celebration, music, culinary craftsmanship, and giving back. In a tribute to historic local flavors, the evening’s menu will feature dishes inspired by the iconic eateries and talented culinary artisans of the past and present that have defined Macon’s culinary landscape. Crafted and prepared by the skilled faculty chefs and students of Helms College’s Polly Long Denton School of Hospitality, this remarkable gastronomic experience will be the highlight of the event.
Goodwill’s annual Gala is a party with a purpose. Guests will enjoy dancing to live music by The Grapevine, unlimited bar service, and all-inclusive access to the menu of heavy hors d’oeuvres. Gala proceeds will support Goodwill’s community-based education initiatives and Helms College student scholarship program, furthering our commitment to empowering individuals through education and training.
