Donations to Goodwill build lives, families and communities
Last year, more than 24,500 individuals visited Goodwill for employment assistance. Thanks to your donations, Goodwill helped more than 4,600 people – many of them with disabilities or other barriers to employment – find jobs and earn the dignity of a paycheck.
Your donations helped people like Melissa Beasley, who beat an addiction to prescription drugs and now has a good job and supports her family. Your support helped people like Sean Walker, who successfully transitioned from prison to a hospitality career. Your donations offered a hand up to people like Archie Gibbs, who overcame poverty and a disability to become co-owner of a flourishing business, and who has been named Goodwill Industries International Graduate of the Year. And your generosity helped Helms College provide an education to students like Justin Bell, who overcame the loss of job and home to become successful in his new culinary career.
Your financial gift, along with donations of gently used clothing, household goods and vehicles, helps Goodwill empower individuals like these as we build lives, families and communities, one career at a time, throughout Middle Georgia and the CSRA. Thank you for your support
