Build Career Pathways When You Shop Goodwill

99 Cent Monday 11.4.19 | Goodwill Corporate

What's the Story on Those Goodwill Color Codes?

Have you ever wondered about the blue, red, green or yellow color tags or the letters B, R, G or Y on Goodwill merchandise? Those color codes help our employees manage Goodwill’s inventory. The tags are added when a donated item is processed so our employees know how long the item has been available.

After three weeks on the sales floor, items with that color tag are on sale for 50% off the fourth week – with most clothing 99 cents on Monday! (Offer not valid on any new good items or specialty priced items.) Any unsold items are then sent to our Last Chance! store, our Goodwill Outlet stores or recycled to make room for fresh inventory.
