Goodwill Helps Decorating Enthusiasts on a Budget
Goodwill brings in award-winning interior designer in to help shoppers upgrade their homes
[AUGUSTA, GA] – For those fortunate enough to be able to hire an interior designer, they can benefit from the creativity and expertise of a professional to help them enhance their space. However, while maintaining control of the budget for furniture and décor may be manageable, the bill for design services can easily and quickly rack up, and will tend to vary greatly. That is why Goodwill of Middle Georgia and the CSRA recently brought in an award-winning interior designer, Courtney Wier, to help decorating enthusiasts learn what to look for when planning a home refresh as well as how to design on a dime.
At a free workshop on September 25th, the Goodwill on Washington Road hosted more than 50 individuals eager to learn about design trends, hacks and tools, planning space, and the art of accessorizing with items from the shelves of Goodwill. They also received coupons for 20% off to jump-start their remodeling plans.
“Goodwill has worked closely with Courtney in the past and her creativity and design skills have elevated our brand,” said James K. Stiff, president of Goodwill Industries of Middle Georgia and the CSRA. “We are grateful to the Ambassadors who contribute their time and expertise to support our mission and offer unique opportunities for community members to enjoy.”
“As a Goodwill Ambassador, I am honored to help this amazing organization and encourage others to help support its mission, however they can,” added Courtney Wier. “You never know what you might find at Goodwill – as a designer, I find my trips to Goodwill to be exciting each and every time!”
